Occupational Therapist PRN for Home Health Agency Lorain County Job Summary:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis to provide therapy services to patients in Lorain County. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients' conditions, develop treatment plans, and help them improve their mobility and daily living skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments to determine their physical and mental capabilities
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients' motor skills and daily living activities
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to help patients reach their goals
Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment processCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Schedule:
This position is on a PRN basis, meaning hours will vary depending on the needs of the agency and patients. Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate patient appointments and therapy sessions.
