Position Information Position Title: Office Assistant Requisition Number: H00714P Position Category: Hourly/Work Study Campus Location: Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 20 Months per year: 12 Hourly Pay Rate: $12.00 Job Summary/Basic Function Assist with planning and carrying out Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning events and programs such as book groups, New Faculty Retreat, Adjunct Faculty Retreat, Thrive Symposium, and The Last Lecture. Perform general office tasks and errands. Required Qualifications Current WSU student. Windows and Microsoft Office experience. Ability to navigate Google programs. Friendly and professional communication skills. Availability to attend all CETL events, including one 3 day retreat every August. Must be 50/50 eligible. Physical Requirements of this position Light work: exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work. Visual Acuity Requirements Including color, depth perception, and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, using a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
