In This Role You will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring a positive employee experience and excellent service to staff. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for all major functions of the HR department, including the employee life cycle, benefits administration, and payroll support. Maintain accurate employee records: personnel files, payroll information, benefits records. Compile data and reports; review invoices for accuracy. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to record‑keeping. Assist with annual projects, including beginning and end‑of‑year transitions. Support major annual HR events: Summer Welcome Days, contract renewal, open enrollment. Support employee engagement initiatives: recognition programs, appreciation events, staff surveys. Communicate proactively and consistently with colleagues and supervisors. Collaborate and maintain positive, solution‑oriented relationships. Demonstrate a service‑oriented mindset and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Serve with flexibility, recognizing no duty is outside the scope of your role. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is a plus. Active participation in a Christian church. Strong attention to detail and effective oral and written communication skills. Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model, with a passion for customer service. Knowledge/skills: experience in payroll, recruitment, pre‑hire activities, data entry, compliance is welcomed. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite; familiarity with UKGReady HRIS system and Asana is a plus.
