Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The associate acquires and maintains knowledge of represented products, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, and demonstrates products to consumers in a professional manner. The associate maintains a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Responsibilities
Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product.
Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly sets up and prepares the event table for execution.
Achieves 100% execution of all assigned work.
Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Completes expense reports as per company policy.
Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Accesses the internet and navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business or client needs.

Qualifications Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
The associate will regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance:
Must ensure a professional appearance, proper grooming, clean, neat, and appropriately groomed. Retailer dress code details are included in training documents.
Language Skills:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
