Position Summary Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Outpatient Services, the Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision to clinical staff and participates in administrative activities to support the program and service delivery.

Responsibilities Program Administrative Activities

Assists in establishing standards and procedures for service delivery

Provides clinical and administrative supervision to assigned clinical staff

Oversees credentialing and license status of assigned staff

Assists with case record reviews for quality and appropriateness of service delivery

Attends community meetings in relationship to service delivery as needed

Works with Clinical Utilization Manager to ensure quality clinical services are provided and that clinical documentation completed by staff meets agency and funder requirements

Attends staff meetings, clinical team meetings, Management Team meetings, and Quality Improvement meetings

Maintains a small caseload and productivity of 30% reportable/billable services

Supervises Clinical Staff

Assigns, supervises, and monitors clinical activities of supervisees through individual and group supervision, review of clinical records, and review of monthly productivity reports with each direct report to ensure performance meets agency productivity and documentation requirements

Helps with recruitment and selection of clinical staff

Orients and trains new employees

Provides on the job training and facilitates other staff development opportunities

Evaluates staff performance annually

Develops and implements corrective action plans with staff to address performance issues, as indicated

Embraces utilization of Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) as applicable to populations served and commits to implementation and supervision of EBPs in accordance with fidelity requirements

Qualifications Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Physical Requirements This position normally requires that physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill.

Education

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure

Experience

Two years of post-master’s experience working with children, families, adults in a professional outpatient setting

1-2 years of experience providing clinical supervision or in related on the job education

Additional certifications with special populations (children, older adults, e.g.) preferred

Training and certification in multiple EBPs desired

Special Skills

Bilingual & biliterate in English & Spanish preferred

Possess and utilize effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and as a team member

Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community

Good understanding of Catholic Charities guidelines, policies, and procedures

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Washington State

Meet eligibility requirements for or have current credential as Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS)

Valid Washington driver’s license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State

Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities’ liability insurance provider

Employment Is Conditional Upon

Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required

Work Schedule Monday - Friday business hours; must work 2 nights until 7:00pm

Wage Range $92,000-$102,000 per year, depending on experience and credentials

Relocation Assistance up to $5000 for relocations over 50 miles
