Job Details Job Location Wenatchee, WA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $97520.00 - $108120.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage Up to 50% Job Shift Day Description Position Summary: The Diversion Program Manager is responsible for coordination and collaboration with the community on all Catholic Charities Diversion Services provided within the North Central Region. This position has primary leadership and development role to oversee the Trueblood Diversion/Co-Response Grant in conjunction with the local courts, law enforcement, hospital and other community programs. The Diversion Program Manager will work directly with law enforcement and the criminal court system to provide mental health services and train staff to work with law enforcement to prevent incarceration when indicated. The Diversion Program Manager will also coordinate with the Jail services program, and other necessary internal programs to implement effective services for individuals with behavioral health challenges. In working with the police, the jail, and the court system, the Diversion Program Manager will continue with the long-range goal of facilitating improvements to the mental health system of care. Responsibilities General Duties Responsible for maintaining the grant requirements and outcomes outlined by Trueblood and our funders Coordinate with community partners to coordinate care for individuals commonly cycling through the criminal court system as a result of behavioral health Provide direct supportive services to law enforcement to improve coordination with community providers with the goal of diverting individuals from incarceration when appropriate Consultation and Training Activities Design, conduct and/or oversee training for Diversion Program staff Collaboratively work with community partners, jail,police and court system, as indicated Supervision of Clinical Consultation for Crisis Programs Educates and mentors staff at all levels on principles of diversion services Participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings, trainings, and specialtyand psychiatric consultations as indicated to facilitate program development and quality service delivery for persons served Models a team-oriented approach by promotingpositive communication and collaboration amongall staff members Communicates in a professional manner that promotes teamwork, dignity, positive relationships, trust and respect among team members Monitors staff efforts in linking and coordinating with internal and external interdisciplinary team members and other activities that demonstrate good clinical management of individuals with serious mental illness Creates structures, systems and processes that encourage successful innovation in delivering mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness who are at risk for decompensation and hospitalization Availability to support staff and program needs after hours Engage with Community Partners Meets with community partners to build collaborative working relationships that enhance communication and collaboration in the management of individuals with serious mental illness Works with community agencies including hospital administrators, law enforcement,jails, community physicians, and all indicated community supports and resources to support diversion from the jail, hospital, and criminal court system Collaborates with internal teams for linkage to services and care coordination to support diversion from law enforcement and the criminal court system Works with the court system to develop and implement mental health court as a best practice for working with offenders with mental illness Quality Improvement Activities Reviews crisis records to ensure quality and appropriateness of crisis s Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Project Management and Information Technology Industries Non-profit Organization Management Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Program Manager” roles.
