Job Summary The Paramedic will provide high‑quality pre‑hospital and interfacility advanced life support, including assessment, triage and treatment, following standards and guidelines set by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s). The role requires maintaining a focus on safety throughout the transport continuum.

What you will do in this role

Operate emergency medical vehicles and respond to calls for aid in emergent situations.

Evaluate patient condition to establish the right course of treatment.

Provide a variety of emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons.

Perform invasive procedures under adverse conditions.

Manage non‑medical situations such as crowd control and protection of patient valuables.

Lift and transport patients, ensuring stability during transport.

Communicate patient data and condition to professional medical personnel at the emergency treatment facility.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years full‑time paramedic experience at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.

Maintain current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services.

Maintain BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced provider ITLS or PHTLS.

Must have a valid NC driver’s license and be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines.

Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications.

Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings.
