Pharmacy Clerk Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in the medication management of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies. You will work in a closed‑door pharmacy fulfillment site, collaborating closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications and related supplies following regulations and company policies.

Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.

Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory efficiently.

Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.

Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed to ensure optimal operation.

Essential Skills

Must be at least 18 years old.

Possess a high school diploma or GED.

Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience is required.

Ability to lift 35 lbs throughout the day and be on feet all day.

Strong attention to detail with no room for error.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician Certification/Registration is preferred, but not required.

Positive attitude and self‑motivation are essential.

Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and fulfillment processes.

Work Environment The role offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with hours from 7 am‑3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and optional overtime on weekends. You will have the opportunity to be cross‑trained as a pharmacy technician, with potential for career advancement once nationally certified.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
