The CNU College of Social Sciences is accepting applications from prospective adjunct faculty members to teach individual courses, as needed, in the following areas in the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters and beyond: Principles of Microeconomics The Economic Way of Thinking Principles of Macroeconomics Along with demonstrated ability for excellent teaching, candidates must hold an earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline, with 18 completed semester hours of related graduate coursework. The Department of Economics at Christopher Newport University is composed of 8 full‑time faculty who seek to provide students an outstanding liberal arts education. The Department offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, a concentration in mathematical economics, and a minor in economics.
