Join the CNU College of Arts and Humanities as an adjunct faculty member teaching Classical Studies or Latin. The position is for individual courses in the upcoming Fall or Spring semesters and beyond.
Purpose of the Position Provide high-quality instruction to high-ability undergraduate students, mentor students on independent research projects, and contribute to the department’s teaching mission.
Responsibilities
Deliver instruction in Classical Studies or Latin in Fall or Spring courses.
Develop and present engaging course materials, assessments, and feedback.
Mentor students on independent research projects.
Maintain professional scholarship through publishing and participation in departmental activities.
Qualifications
Earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline.
Completed 18 graduate semester hours of related coursework.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Official transcripts required at hire.
Completion of a CNU-sponsored background check.
