Responsibilities

Prepare, audit, data enter, and post complex encumbered and unencumbered vouchers in CAPPS Financial. Coordinate daily payment voucher posting schedules and ensure proper documentation and authorization. Reconcile vouchers, including expenditure transfer vouchers, cancellation and refund vouchers. Process accounts payable transactions, cancellations, corrections, and refunds in a timely and accurate manner. Assist agency staff and management with accounts payable and refund transactions, answering questions and researching problems.

Qualifications

Experience in accounting and financial operations. Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles and state financial accounting preferred. Knowledge of CAPPS Financials, PeopleSoft Financials, USAS, and TINS preferred. Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures preferred. Skill using computer software including spreadsheet, database, email, word processing applications. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and assignments, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
