Position Overview The Business Development Representative role accelerates national growth. The BDR identifies key projects across the U.S. through market research and outreach. This high‑impact, early career role is designed for a self‑starter excited by outreach, research, and building new relationships from the ground up. The BDR works the front lines of Armorock’s go‑to‑market efforts, using prospecting platforms, warm and cold calls, email, and CRM research to open doors and feed the top of the sales funnel. The work directly supports the outside sales team by generating high‑quality leads, scheduling discovery calls, and helping Armorock expand into new regions and project pipelines.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct market research to identify key projects and customers.
Qualify leads through outreach (internal platforms, calling, emailing, etc.).
Pass qualified leads to Sales Representatives in local markets.
Maintain and update CRM records with accurate lead information.
Lead Research and Targeting (35%)
Proactively identify and research key decision makers, engineering firms, municipal agencies, and contractors that fit Armorock’s customer profile.
Review civil plan sets and specifications to identify Armorock’s scope of work.
Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calls and emails to generate interest, nurture relationships, and set qualified appointments.
Serve as first point of contact for all inbound inquiries.
CRM Management (10%)
Input leads in CRM and track outreach and activity.
Sales Support and Follow‑Up (5%)
Assist in qualifying leads, conducting discovery, and coordinating handoff of opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives.

Education : High School Diploma Required
Travel Requirements : None

Organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple outreach efforts simultaneously
Willingness to learn technical product knowledge and communicate value in a B2B industrial environment
Self‑starter with a growth mindset and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the broader sales and marketing teams
