QA Automation Engineer
Outbounds is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join a collaborative team in Denver, CO. This long‑term opportunity is ideal for those passionate about building scalable web and API testing frameworks in high‑visibility, Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for UI and API testing.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across diverse environments and platforms.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Troubleshoot test failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and report defects using bug‑tracking tools.
Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and test documentation for both manual and automated testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement in testing practices.
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.
Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or Karate.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Detail‑oriented with a passion for delivering bug‑free, high‑quality software.
Valid US work authorization.
