Musick Peeler & Garrett LLP is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join the firm's Litigation Department in the Orange County office (emphasis on General Litigation). Experience with Labor & Employment is a plus. 4–6 years of litigation practice experience and an active California Bar license are required. There is some flexibility regarding a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities
Work with partners on litigation matters, including arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery, law and motion. Carry a significant amount of responsibility with opportunities to participate in trials. Proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized with strong work ethic. Write, research, and communicate persuasively; work with minimal direction. Qualifications
4–6 years of litigation experience and active California Bar license. Experience in General Litigation; Labor & Employment experience a plus. Strong academic background; excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $165,000–$210,000 depending on experience. Full benefits package including eligibility for a year-end discretionary bonus. The firm expects Associates to bill 1,900 hours annually.
