M&A/PE Associate
Base Pay Range $330,000.00/yr - $575,000.00/yr
Overview Attorney headcount has grown by over 40% in the last year with recent recognition from Chambers USA in private equity matters. This national boutique, founded by an AM5 team, focuses on mid‑market private equity and is expanding across California, New York, and Texas. The firm seeks a Big Law attorney eager to control M&A transactions from inception to close while receiving business development mentorship from day one.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute complex Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Advise private equity sponsors and strategic clients on growth equity, debt financing, and fund formation.
Support all stages of the private equity lifecycle, from fund formation to acquisition and exit, across various industries.
Collaborate on specialty practice areas, including tax, intellectual property, cybersecurity and data privacy, executive compensation, labor and employment, and environmental matters.
Qualifications
J.D. (2018‑2022) admitted to practice law in California.
Experience working on M&A matters across the U.S. and internationally, preferably within a Big Law environment, with a focus on private equity.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
Commitment to a collaborative, inclusive, and client‑centric work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
