Overview
Our residential property management company in Richmond, VA is looking for a skilled, EPA‑certified HVAC Installation Technician. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, with no on‑call or after‑hours schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Perform two full HVAC system changeouts per day (air handler + condensing unit).
Complete removal, installation, startup, and verify proper operation per safety standards.
Communicate effectively with management, team members, and onsite staff.
Work is periodically inspected for quality assurance.
Operate in occupied and vacant units; travel between communities (transportation provided).
Support additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
EPA/CFC Type II or Universal certification.
3–5+ years of residential HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
Customer‑service mindset and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Comfortable using computers, tablets, MS Windows, Outlook, and work‑order software.
Valid driver’s license (no restrictions) and reliable transportation.
Schedule & Compensation Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week). No nights, weekends, or after‑hours calls.
Pay: $28–$34 per hour, based on experience.
