We’re hiring a PLC & Controls Technician for a well-established manufacturer in St. Marys, Ohio. This is a direct hire role focused on troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment in a high-volume production setting.
Details Compensation:
$35/hr, OT available.
Location:
Auglaize County, OH
Shift:
7:00pm-7:00am; on a 3-2-2 schedule.
What You Bring
Associate degree in a technical discipline (PLC, Electrical, Industrial Tech) or equivalent experience.
Strong hands‑on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (hardware and software).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and troubleshooting automation equipment.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Self‑motivated and reliable—able to work independently on off‑shift.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot, modify, and maintain Allen Bradley PLC systems and controls hardware.
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and maintenance to solve equipment issues.
Lead or assist in automation‑related capital and expense projects.
Maintain accurate PLC programs, schematics, and system documentation.
Recommend and implement solutions to recurring technical problems.
Support process improvements, tooling changes, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Provide occasional support for customer‑related technical documentation or activities.
U.S. Citizenship Requirement This is a direct hire position supporting U.S. Government projects. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
