Job Summary DEPLOY is seeking a hands‑on, revenue‑driven

Vice President of Sales

to lead and scale our national sales organization. This executive role owns company revenue, bookings, and growth outcomes across DEPLOY's client portfolio of automotive inspection, AI, and SaaS solutions and future platform innovations. It is a field‑first, road‑warrior role; the VP will spend significant time in the field alongside Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)—conducting ride‑alongs, advancing opportunities, coaching deal strategy, and personally supporting the close of complex, multi‑rooftop dealer and dealer‑group agreements. The ideal candidate is a front‑line sales leader, not a desk‑based administrator, with deep experience selling into automotive dealers, dealer groups, and enterprise automotive customers.

Revenue Ownership & Growth Own and deliver revenue, bookings, and growth targets across all product lines.

Drive new customer acquisition, multi‑rooftop expansions, renewals, and upsell opportunities.

Personally engage in strategic and high‑value deals, including dealer groups and enterprise accounts.

Establish a culture of sales accountability, urgency, and consistent execution.

Field Leadership & Road‑Warrior Expectations Spend significant time in the field with RSMs conducting:

Ride‑alongs and joint customer meetings

Deal qualification and close‑plan reviews

Executive‑level customer presentations and negotiations

Coach sales leaders and reps through live selling environments and customer interactions.

Act as the executive escalation point for key customers and complex sales cycles.

Maintain strong visibility in the market and with customers nationwide.

Sales Strategy & Team Leadership Develop and execute a scalable, repeatable sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.

Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing RSMs and future sales leaders.

Define quotas, territories, pipeline standards, and performance expectations.

Build a disciplined sales organization focused on predictable revenue and sustained growth.

Own pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue predictability.

Enforce CRM discipline, deal qualification standards, and sales process rigor.

Deliver accurate forecasts, KPIs, and performance insights to the President.

Use data and field insights to identify gaps and drive corrective action.

Identify new markets, dealer segments, and growth opportunities within automotive retail and adjacent verticals.

Build executive‑level relationships with dealer principals, fixed ops leaders, and enterprise partners.

Represent at industry events, OEM meetings, and automotive trade shows.

Provide continuous feedback on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing to align demand generation, messaging, and sales enablement.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure solutions meet real‑world dealer needs.

Work with Operations and Client Success to ensure strong onboarding, adoption, and retention.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

7+ years of senior sales leadership experience with direct revenue ownership.

Proven track record of selling into automotive dealers, dealer groups, or enterprise automotive customers.

Demonstrated success as a field‑based sales leader who leads from the front.

Experience selling SaaS, hardware‑enabled technology, or multi‑product platforms.

Strong CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management experience.

Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Revenue‑obsessed, execution‑focused sales leader

Comfortable being on the road and deeply involved in deals

Strong coach who elevates RSM performance through field engagement

Data‑driven with strong business and financial acumen

Trusted partner to customers and internal leadership alike

Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
