The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Human Resources Office is hiring for a highly‑motivated individual with technical and organizational skills to join our team of talent. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I for the Examination Unit within the Human Resources Office, the Personnel Technician I (PT I) performs technical personnel tasks in support of recruitment efforts undertaken by Divisions and programs throughout the DIR. The PT I will provide assistance to the Classification and Selection (C&S) team by creating and maintaining job postings; ordering, coding, and clearing certification lists; and releasing job applications to hiring managers utilizing the Exam and Online Cert System (ECOS).

Working Conditions This position is located at: DIR Human Resources Office, 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.

The incumbent works in an air‑conditioned, high‑rise office building with natural and artificial lighting. The incumbent works in a cubicle in close proximity to others. Partial telework will be considered.
