NY Center for Autism Treatment, LLC provides home‑based ABA therapy for children diagnosed with autism. We are hiring ABA Paraprofessionals / RBT Therapists to provide one‑on‑one services in the child’s home or community setting under BCBA supervision.
Position Summary As an ABA Paraprofessional, you will independently provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy in the child’s home or community setting under the supervision of a BCBA Case Supervisor. You will implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication, social skills, and daily living skills.
Schedule Schedules vary by case and are determined by the needs of patients and families.
General reference includes
Weekdays (M–F):
Most sessions occur after school hours, typically starting between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM and lasting 2–4 hours.
Weekends:
Some cases offer or require weekend availability; scheduling is often flexible.
Major Holidays:
Possible flexibility based on family requests and needs.
Location
Services are provided in‑person in the child’s home or community setting.
We serve families across New York City’s boroughs: Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.
Specific case assignments are based on family needs and may change.
While we strive to prioritize location convenience,
we cannot guarantee placement solely based on proximity .
Responsibilities
Provide direct ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
Implement behavioral protocols and record data accurately.
Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Assist families in generalizing skills to natural environments.
Submit session notes daily per agency policy.
Complete required training (e.g., HIPAA, review of BCBA treatment plans).
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Autism: 1 year (Required).
Working with children: 1 year (Required).
Spanish (preferred, not required).
Job Type:
Part‑time.
Pay:
$18.00 – $25.00 per hour.
Expected hours:
15–35 per week.
