Job Description AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well‑stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll use company‑provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
Responsibilities
Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
Process customer payments securely in accordance with company policies.
Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications What We’re Looking For
Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and adherence to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
