Join Our Team as an Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician! We’re a full-service animal hospital in La Jolla, CA, that focuses on personalized veterinary care for dogs and cats. What You’ll Be Doing
Helping with animal examinations and procedures
Assisting with surgical preparations and dentistry
Educating clients on pet wellness
Providing excellent customer service to our clients
Skills You Need
Experience in patient recovery and anesthesia monitoring
Knowledge of kennel cleaning and maintenance
Proficiency in surgical monitoring and assisting
Ability to perform IV catheterization and fluid therapy
Extra Skills That Would Be Great
Experience with AVImark or other veterinary software
Certification as a Veterinary Assistant or RVT
Knowledge of digital radiography and cystocentesis
Ability to do drug calculations and administer medications
