Qualifications
3-7 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, or an engineering discipline background.
Autodesk certification is a plus.
A related architectural or engineering technology degree is a plus.
Must have prior experience with Autodesk programs, including AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.
Knowledge of Navisworks and Plant 3D is a plus.
Programming skills (C#, Python, JSON, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of Autodesk Platform Service (APS) is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot software issues and knowledge of associated hardware performance issues.
Ability to quickly learn and utilize company-specific techniques, standards, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for a team-based working environment.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain project files for Autodesk programs, including AutoCAD and Revit.
Provide guidance and mentoring to staff with regard to Revit, AutoCAD, and other design applications, including Bluebeam and Bluebeam Studio.
Organize BIM Kickoff meetings and maintain the BIM execution plan throughout a project.
Attend Project BIM Coordination meetings throughout the project.
Create project models according to company standards for the design team. Set up Shared Coordinate system as required.
Coordinate with external BIM partners.
Provide necessary project support to facilitate model quality (Phasing, Design Options, etc.).
Work with Discipline Model Managers for Model maintenance.
Provide necessary project support to facilitate document quality (title blocks, matchlines, key plan, etc.). Assist disciplines with Sheet creation on larger projects.
Assist BIM project team with content creation.
Assist with project issuance, file archiving, and uploading.
Assist with software deployment and troubleshooting.
Create clash detection reports when necessary.
Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity.
Assist the BIM Manager with creating company standards, content, and project workflow. Support developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process.
