Base pay range
$110,000.00 per year – $175,000.00 per year We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. This opportunity involves handling a wide range of insurance defense matters, complex legal research, managing legal liability issues, and cases involving wrongful death. Responsibilities
Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death claims. Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support defense strategies. Develop and present defense strategies in court or during negotiations. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Advise clients on legal liability issues and risk management. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for efficient case management. Keep up-to-date with latest legal trends and developments in insurance defense. Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on insurance defense. Proven experience in handling cases involving wrongful death. Strong legal research skills and ability to apply legal principles to complex factual situations. Solid understanding of legal liability issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
