Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ) Engineer
to join our team in Austin, TX. You’ll play a key role in delivering
identity and biometric solutions
for state and local government agencies, including systems for driver’s licenses, ID cards, and biometric comparisons used by government and law enforcement agencies.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a

Responsibilities
Participate in project teams delivering innovative identity & biometric solutions
Collaborate with customers during project setup and implementation (onsite support may be required)
Design validation strategies and develop automated test scripts
Ensure reliability, robustness, and performance through strong QA practices
Understand system architecture to optimize test coverage and reduce risks
Create and execute QA, acceptance, and validation test plans
Execute tests and manage defect tracking in validation and UAT environments
Review technical design documents, specifications, and test scripts
Contribute to automation of new features and regression test suites
Work closely with Project Managers and Technical Leads to meet deadlines
Provide investigative support in SIT, staging, and production environments
Continuously improve processes and share lessons learned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years validating Windows & web applications on .NET/Java platforms
5+ years in a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment
3+ years with validation methodologies (functional, integration, performance, usability, acceptance)
3+ years using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA)
Strong knowledge of IVVQ methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands‑on experience with API testing (SOAP/REST)
Experience with estimation, scheduling, risk management, and reporting
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP
Ability to write SQL queries for database validation
Solid knowledge of application security and data persistence
Proven troubleshooting skills in high‑pressure environments
Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Independent, fast learner, and strong team player
Experience managing projects from planning to deployment
Prior experience with identity or biometric systems
Familiarity with automation tools (TestComplete, ReadyAPI, JMeter)
Knowledge of PKI and digital security best practices
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and simplify complexity
