IVVQ Engineer position at Innova Solutions, full‑time, 06 months with potential extension, hybrid role in Austin, TX. Immediate hiring.
Responsibilities
5+ years validating Windows and web applications using .NET/Java platforms for end‑to‑end testing.
3+ years experience with Functional, Integration, Performance, Usability, Acceptance testing.
3+ years experience with defect management tools such as JIRA.
Proven experience with API testing using SOAP/REST protocols.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication to articulate tests, bugs, and results.
Part of a dynamic team delivering solutions for state and local government agencies (Driver’s License, ID cards) and biometric comparisons.
Responsible for test preparation, execution, and reporting to project teams.
Creation and management of defects and follow‑up on corrections.
Management of test platform and data to execute tests.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years validating Windows and web applications using .NET/Java platforms.
5+ years in a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment.
Experience with Functional, Integration, Performance, Usability, Acceptance testing.
Proficiency with defect management tools such as JIRA.
Strong knowledge of IVVQ methodologies and processes.
Proven experience with API testing using SOAP/REST.
Experience estimating IVVQ activities, managing schedules, tracking progress, risks, and actions.
Knowledge of data communication/networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP).
Experience writing SQL queries for regular database searches.
Understanding of application security, data persistence, and querying.
Experience troubleshooting software and hardware under high pressure.
Pay Range $50 to $57.06 per hour.
