Job Summary The Multi‑Skilled Technician is an experienced health‑care worker who provides both patient care and administrative support.
Required Qualifications
Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic; or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist; or National licensure as an EMT, which must be maintained active during employment.
Nursing students eligible for the CNA exam must currently be enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN), have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN or first trimester for LPN, and cannot be currently licensed as an RN or LPN.
Patient Care Technician (PCT) or CNA certification: Provide certification of successful completion of a Florida State Board approved program and obtain a Florida CNA license within 120 days of graduation.
Employees hired without the above licensure by years of experience prior to 11/11/19 are grandfathered and will have the option of obtaining the stipulated licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient populations served by the department.
Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Mandatory Education High School Diploma, GED, or Certificate.
Required License and Certifications Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS).
Preferred License and Certifications
Shifts may vary from 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts.
Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.
Work flexibility at all 7 urgent care locations, with schedule location preferences considered.
Employment Screening Requirements All individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
