What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory

Maintain and inspect equipment, including cleaning and checking fluid levels

Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment

Participate in continuous education through U-Haul University

What is Required (Qualifications)

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs

Willingness to adhere to safety precautions in a work environment with moderate risks

Availability to participate in ongoing training and certification programs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in customer service or a related field

Familiarity with rental equipment and vehicle maintenance

Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered through the employer)

Interest in participating in health and wellness programs offered by the employer

Knowledge of U-Haul products and services
