What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper safety protocols
Clean and inspect rental equipment, checking fluid levels and overall condition
Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to use protective clothing or gear as needed
Availability to participate in ongoing education and training programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in customer service or a retail environment
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification through U-Haul
Experience with vehicle maintenance or inspections
Familiarity with technology and smartphone applications
Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers
