Responsibilities
train staff and assist the director of nursing
support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence as permitted by state regulations
ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
know and follow infection control and safety procedures
review, update, and communicate resident care documentation
evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
Qualifications
possess a current RN license in good standing
