Position Summary The ideal candidate will reside in:
Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL . This role represents and promotes the full portfolio of IV Systems, including IV irrigation solutions, IV sets, safety IV catheters, large volume pumps, disposable pump sets, syringe pumps, pharmacy admixture products, drug delivery solutions and automated compounding devices.
Responsibilities
Sell to and service all pharmacies (home infusion and closed shop), long‑term acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and DME outlets in the territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with key distribution partners within the territory.
Call on key points at end‑user customers (materials management, nursing, pharmacy, administration, etc.) in all existing and new opportunities.
Prepare and deliver effective presentations offering solutions to potential customers.
Compare competitive proposals and recommend solutions to customers.
Coordinate product evaluations and implementations for clinical staff.
Assist peers with product evaluations and conversions.
Communicate comprehensive and efficient sales reports to management as directed.
Maintain weekly expense reports.
Prepare territory forecasts to achieve goal attainment.
Maintain accurate customer records, call documentation, and written correspondence.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
Basic understanding of non‑acute healthcare market structure and personnel roles.
Ability to initiate projects and tasks with little or no direction.
Decision making independently, often with limited data, to solve customer problems.
Works well independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced computer aptitude: Word, Excel, and web browsers.
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of outside sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Extensive travel required (overnight stays).
Valid driver’s license and registration.
Desired Qualifications
Previous medical device sales experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Compensation
Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 (plus incentive compensation).
