Position Summary A Mike’s Carwash Wash Associate is on the front line of customer service. The role combines responsibilities of a Service Advisor, Director, and keeps the facility clean and prepared for customers according to our high standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Execute the Mike’s Purpose: Provide the best value for our customers by delivering a clean, quick wash every time with a smile.

Service Advising: Greet customers and advise them of Mike’s products/services, and process sales transactions.

Directing: Safely prep and direct the vehicle into the wash tunnel.

Abide by our Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Fun, Accountability, Passion.

Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the interior and exterior of the property so customers feel comfortable. Keep all customer‑related material stocked and clean, rain or shine.

Training: Participate in extensive training to keep skills in production up to date; ask management for assistance when needed.

Required Work Schedule

Must work all scheduled shifts unless notified otherwise by management.

Attend scheduled team meetings.

Must be available to work 2 of the 3 following days: Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.

Physical Demands The position requires verbal and written communication, hearing at a conversational level, vision for depth perception and color distinction. Employees must stand or walk continuously, sometimes sit, stoop, reach or twist at the waist while rotating, perform repetitive hand movements, and operate controls. They may lift up to 50 lbs. for up to 3 feet, pull 10 lbs. for up to 10 feet, carry up to 50 lbs. for 10 feet, and occasionally bend, kneel and balance. Rarely required to climb stairs or ladders.

Work Environment Work may involve machinery with moving parts and require gloves. Employees work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0–100°F, use chemicals, and wear eye or hearing protection.

Minimum Qualifications

Reasoning and Development: Ability to deal with practical problems and implement solutions.

Mathematical Development: Scores 80% or higher on the Money Handling Skills Assessment without a calculator.

Language Development: Ability to read product manuals, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence and effectively deal with customers.
