Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (Food Manufacturing) Shift:
Night Shift (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., M & T OR M & W AND every other weekend)
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll play a key role in keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently to support continuous, high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure all maintenance work follows GMP, FDA, and food safety requirements.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately.
Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to support smooth, safe operations.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Qualifications
2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and control systems.
Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, packaging machinery, and refrigeration (a plus).
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification a plus.
