Exempt
Salary: Up to $82,603.92
Job Summary The clinical supervisor is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the assigned programs. Responsibilities include conducting individual supervision, reviewing documentation for non‑independently licensed staff, providing coaching and guidance on effective interventions, supporting community service workers in crisis or staffing needs, coordinating with other supervisors for clinical group supervision, and participating in quality improvement and operational meetings.
Core Competencies
Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence‑based practices, especially crisis intervention and short‑term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow‑up and closure.
Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.
Ability to work effectively on a multi‑disciplinary team and with the public.
Assess and incorporate culture into assessment and treatment processes.
Effective oral and written communication.
Actively seek feedback and supervision, engaging in personal reflection and self‑correction.
Acknowledge the impact of own feelings and cultural values on practice.
Knowledge of ethical principles and state laws.
Knowledge of and adherence to state reporting and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain appropriate boundaries with patients and staff.
Assess for trauma and engage in trauma‑informed practices.
Formulate realistic, patient‑centered treatment goals and evaluate progress toward goals.
Knowledge of developmental needs of the population served.
Knowledge of methods of clinical supervision.
Knowledge of program regulations, agency policy and procedure, and applicable government or program contracts.
Job Requirements
Must be independently licensed in the State of New Mexico (LISW, LPCC, LMFT, Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist).
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
Minimum of two years working with SMI/SED populations.
