Human Resource Analyst 1 – Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
– Join our General Government HR Office’s Talent Management Division to support talent acquisition, complement management, and strategic HR projects across state agencies. Position Overview
This analyst will partner with client agencies to streamline hiring processes, manage personnel requests, prepare and interpret data for Talent Management, and develop consultative relationships with diverse talent pools. Key Responsibilities
Facilitate agency hiring requests and prepare applicant referrals for agency review. Assist with interview scheduling, self‑scheduling, and resolve inquiries from the Bureau of Talent Acquisition. Process and track personnel actions within the Personnel Action Requests resource account and maintain accurate records in the Employee Resource Center/AskHR system. Generate reports and analytics related to talent acquisition, complement management, and strategic HR projects. Support consultative initiatives and special projects for an assigned group of state organizations. Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program or one year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or Equivalent. One year of paraprofessional analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. PA residency requirement met. Ability to perform essential job functions. Work Schedule & Telework
Full‑time employment; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday with a 60‑minute lunch break. Option to telework part‑time, 2 days per week from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Option to work from the headquarters office in Harrisburg if telework is not feasible. Application Process
