IT System Administrator
Location : Hybrid in Purchase, NY (3 days a week onsite)

Description :
Join a dynamic global company as an IT System Administrator, reporting directly to the Vice President of Information Systems. As part of a small, collaborative IT team in the US, you’ll play a critical role in supporting users and managing the IT infrastructure across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects, troubleshoot diverse technical challenges, and contribute to the success of a global IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & User Assistance:
Act as a primary resource for end‑user technical support, addressing a wide range of hardware and software needs. Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for PCs (Windows, Office, ERP software), peripherals, printers, phones, and security systems.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including Nutanix servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix VDIs, and backup solutions. Perform basic configuration and management of Windows OS, ensuring proper privileges and file share access.
Documentation & Process Improvement:
Create and update internal documentation, including procedural guides, system diagrams, and user manuals. Document and share knowledge through ticketing systems, ensuring effective communication within the team. Contribute to IT projects such as Nutanix deployments, Citrix VDI implementations, disaster recovery initiatives, security enhancements, and mobile device management. Take detailed notes during meetings and provide summaries to enhance team alignment and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid understanding and hands‑on experience with basic IT concepts, including hardware and software troubleshooting. Proficiency in Windows OS configuration and management for both clients and servers. Familiarity with managing consoles for IT infrastructure components. Experience with documentation, reporting, and utilizing ticket systems for issue tracking and resolution. Strong organizational skills to take notes, compose meeting summaries, and facilitate team knowledge‑sharing. A proactive, self‑starting mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
