Telemetry Technician – Delnor Cardiac/Telemetry Unit Full Time Nights Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital is hiring a Telemetry Technician to work night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays. The position will involve monitoring patients’ telemetry data and supporting diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.

Salary Range:

$18.33–$22.91 hourly. Placement within the range depends on experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining rules (if applicable).

Schedule:

Three 12‑hour shifts (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) and rotating holidays required.

Responsibilities: Attach electrode lead lines to appropriate body areas based on test ordered. Prepare skin and surroundings to ensure valid results. Obtain and document ECG readings as directed. Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors. Identify significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervene appropriately. Identify and correct for artifacts. Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. Maintain ECG equipment and supplies.

Qualifications: High school diploma. Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework. CPR – Basic Life Support certification.
