Oversee the accounts payable process, including validation and processing of all invoices and payments. Collaborate with various departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Implement process improvements to streamline the accounts payable process and enhance efficiency. Prepare financial reports and statements to provide insights into the company's financial health. Assist with month‑end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and analysis. Train and mentor junior staff members on accounts payable procedures and best practices. Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot and optimize the accounts payable software. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP. Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify financial discrepancies and propose effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial staff. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and managing financial information. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Knowledge of accounts payable best practices and regulations. Experience in a hybrid role, with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. Seniority level
