Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist

Please note this position requires travel to Littleton, NH.
The Autism Specialist Professional will implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA‑based instruction to promote development of new skills, under the direction of a supervising BCBA. The role involves monitoring client behavior, collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition, and reporting the data back to the supervising BCBA. The professional will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA (in‑person or via telehealth) and the client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or a GED
At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
At least 18 years of age
Pass a criminal background check
Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
Availability to work after school and evening hours
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Compassionate approach to care

High‑quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two‑year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.
Support for uncertified employees to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential by offering RBT 40‑hour training, initial competency assessment, ongoing skills‑based supervision, and a $100 bonus upon obtaining the RBT credential.
Hands‑on training with ongoing clinical support from supervising BCBA.

Up to $20 per hour, depending upon experience.
