Retail Store Manager $72,000 Annually plus a lucrative monthly bonus which can make up a major portion of the total yearly income.

Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promoting a positive and productive environment, and leading, coaching and developing store employees. The role includes recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations and satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with the company’s asset protection program.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing issues.

Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.

Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.

Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring all procedures are followed.

Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety, documentation, and securing customer loans.

Administer processes and procedures within inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.

Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.

Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.

Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure quality and integrity of all loans issued.

Complete assigned training and self‑development tasks as requested.

Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of mission and profit objectives.

Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.

Handle other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Willing and able to perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.

Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.

Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.

May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum age: 18 years.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Flexible to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Store Managers work 45+ hours a week; hours are not guaranteed.

Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Analytical skills.

Cash handling experience is required.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
