Documentation-focused — you treat charting as part of ethical care and maintain high-quality, timely notes
Ethically grounded and risk-aware — confident with crisis response, mandated reporting, and safety planning
A systems thinker — you maintain the “Golden Thread” from assessment through treatment

Clinical Creativity and Autonomy Choose your clinical style: traditional office‑based therapy, play and art therapy, walk‑and‑talk sessions, or nature‑based and equine‑assisted sessions through our partner non‑profit, Buddy's Place Farm. You have the right to decline referrals that aren't a good fit. Private, dedicated office space with quality technology, parking, and quiet outdoor spaces.
Schedule Flexibility That Actually Works As an independent contractor, you have complete control over your schedule:
Control your own calendar and availability
Design a 4‑or 5‑day work week that fits your lifestyle
Summer schedule flexibility when families have more daytime availability
Vacation time on your terms
Contractors typically maintain 20‑30 billable hours per week to optimize income
REQUIREMENTS
Licensure: Independently licensed in Delaware as LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD
Experience: Strong background working with children, adolescents, and families
Documentation: Timely documentation as required by payer contracts and professional ethics
Approach: Trauma‑informed, family systems‑based practice
Clinical Pay:
$60 per clinical hour for pay periods with 40+ billable hours
$66 per clinical hour productivity bonus for hours over 51 in a pay period
Paid for intake sessions, therapy sessions, cancellations, and no‑shows
Example earnings:
25 hours/week = $3,000 biweekly (~$72,000 annually*)
30 hours/week = $3,654 biweekly (~$88,000 annually*)
35 hours/week = $4,314 biweekly (~$104,000 annually*) *Annual estimates based on 48 working weeks
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000
$1,500 after 90 days upon successful completion of onboarding
$1,500 after 6 months for maintaining productivity and documentation compliance
Additional Benefits:
CEU reimbursement for approved continuing education
Support for specialty certifications (TF‑CBT, EMDR, play therapy, etc.)
Optional peer consultation groups and Clinical Director support
1099 Independent Contractor position with biweekly upfront pay
Transitioning to W-2 employee model with benefits in Spring 2025
