Healing Connections
Healing Connections is a growing mental health agency in beautiful Downtown Plymouth that is looking for a therapist! You will be providing services to children and families through individual, family, and group therapy services on your own schedule.
Responsibilities
Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes.
Provide excellent customer service for clients and families
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
Coordinate services with teachers, families, and medical personnel as needed
Required Qualifications And Skills
Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
Required to have valid state of Michigan License licensure (LMFT, LLMSW, LMSW, LPC, etc.)
Clinical training in Play Therapy or Child and Adolescent Therapy; or specialized in child and adolescent therapy
Be willing to see clients starting around age 5
Required experience with completing treatment plans and clinical case notes
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of a EMR
Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
