Responsibilities The Compliance Manager Healthcare oversees the development and implementation of the Horizon Health Wellness Corporate Compliance Plan and Risk Management Program. Responsibilities include:
Managing regulatory compliance for facility accreditation and licensure.
Directing risk management and facility safety to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with agency staff and stakeholders.
Developing and delivering compliance training and programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience in the healthcare field (education and work experience may be combined).
Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience.
At least 21 years of age, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record.
Computer proficiency: MS Project, web browser, MS Outlook, MS Office, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
Detailed understanding of government requirements and expectations for health care compliance programs (anti‑kickback, false claims, government contracting, data privacy, CMS). Familiarity with state and federal licensure laws, Medicare/Medicaid programs, Joint Commission standards, OSHA requirements.
Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Certificate in health care compliance (CHC, CCEP, or similar).
Physical & Mental Requirements
Ability to work long periods of sitting, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to operate phone, fax, and computer; operate agency vehicle.
Ability to prioritize workload, maintain calm attitude, make sound judgment under pressure, and think on your feet in public settings.
