Job Description Summary The Credentialing Specialist shall be responsible for coordinating the credentialing of Medical Staff and Allied Health professionals, ensuring that contracting and credentialing is completed in a timely manner for all physicians. This full‑time, benefited position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and is located at the company’s administrative office in Lawrenceville, GA.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting institutions.

Monitor staff and provider credentials and licenses.

Follow up with insurance carriers and provider networks regarding credentialing/contracting status.

Communicate with physicians on licensure and document renewal expirations.

Complete contracting recredentialing applications.

Maintain CAQH profiles for physicians based on Medicare regulations.

Keep records on licenses, credentials, and insurance contracts.

Release information to agencies and members of the public as required by law.

Work comfortably in a growing, dynamic organization and navigate change.

Maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Minimum 1‑year previous experience in credentialing preferred.

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) preferred.

Experience using eClinicalWorks preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
