Renal Specialist I – Hemodialysis (PRN – 1st Shift)
Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Renal Specialist I to work the 1st shift, a PRN position within the Hemodialysis unit. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality dialysis care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Identify the needs and priorities of dialysis and apheresis patients through assessment.
Plan and delegate patient care based on individualized needs.
Evaluate patient response to treatment and progress toward expected outcomes.
Maintain accountability for outcomes of patient care of assigned patients.
Qualifications
Education
– Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
License, Certification, or Registration
– Current Alabama or multistate Nursing license required.
Experience
– ICU and/or prior dialysis experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities
– Ability to document and report to Renal Specialist II and the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse; Call is required.
