Employment Case Manager – Fathers & Families Support Center
Full‑time, non‑exempt position at Fathers & Families Support Center. Base pay $20.00–$22.00 per hour; actual pay based on skills and experience.
Role Description Identify employment opportunities and conduct job readiness training for all participants enrolled in the program.
Responsibilities
Complete detailed needs assessment to determine individual eligibility and identify barriers to employment.
Develop and maintain relationships with area employers seeking to hire FFSC clients.
Assist clients in job search and placement opportunities, providing training in job search and interview techniques.
Ensure completion of employment verification forms by graduates and employers.
Meet regularly with team to review employment and educational status of participants.
Submit regular reports detailing employment status, employer contracts, and client performance evaluations.
Provide job leads, post‑employment support, and job retention support to participants.
Attend all staff meetings, partner meetings, and community events as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of human behavior, performance, and individual differences.
Ability to build relationships, establish trust, and demonstrate oral comprehension and problem sensitivity.
Resilience, tenacity, high personal integrity, and passion for FFSC mission.
Independent work and teamwork with multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Products; experience with Apricot, Social Solutions, or ETO is a plus.
Strong data management and analysis skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
Understanding and practice of the NASW code of ethics.
Qualifications
Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience working with men needing direction related to responsible fatherhood.
Previous experience in career services or job placement.
Valid Missouri driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle for transportation.
