PRN RN - Operating Room
Location: Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital, Cleveland, OH.

The operating room consists of eight suites and one dedicated cystoscopy suite. We provide advanced technology in an intimate environment, focusing primarily on orthopedics, including spine, total joint, and sports procedures, along with general surgery, podiatry, urology, and more.
Shift:
Varying shifts from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities
Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.
Perform scrub functions, such as selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
Perform circulating functions, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing nursing care before, during, and after the procedure.
Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure and patient positioning.
Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Two years of operating room experience.
Physical Requirements
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
Medium work – exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Physical demands exceed those for light work.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $41.00 Maximum hourly: $41.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined after considering work history, experience, skill set, and education. Shift differentials, overtime, and the value of the Cleveland Clinic benefit package are not included in the posted range.
