Outside Residential Sales Representative – Selling to Homeowners and Homebuilders The DH Pace Company is a family‑owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices located across the continental United States. The company is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. In 2026, DH Pace will celebrate its 100th anniversary in business. Overhead Door Company of Nashville™, a DH Pace Company, is hiring an experienced Outside Residential Sales Representative to specialize in building relationships and selling door and door products to homeowners and general contractors.

Responsibilities

Design customized door solutions

Promote the line of products and services to potential customers daily.

Make sales presentations that include product samples and design software

Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess customer needs, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services.

Build solid, long‑lasting relationships with general contractors and builders in an assigned territory.

Provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals.

Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Two (2) years outside selling experience to homeowners and general contractors.

Mechanical aptitude (experience with blueprints/plans and specs highly desirable).

Strong interpersonal skills to easily establish rapport with new customers.

Must possess valid driver’s license.

Must have excellent organizational, communication and relationship building skills.
