Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Licensed Mental Health Professional based in Crestview, FL. The Licensed Mental Health Professional will work collaboratively with an EAGALA Certified Equine Specialist and horses to provide Equine Assisted Therapy to clients.
Responsibilities include conducting mental-health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate case records. The professional will focus on delivering client-centered care while adhering to ethical standards and prioritizing the well-being of individuals and families in need of mental-health support.
Qualifications
Must be Fully Licensed Professional
Experience in Case Management and Crisis Intervention techniques
Relevant licensure as a mental-health professional, such as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
Familiarity with Equine Assisted Therapy or certification such as EAGALA or PATH is strongly preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations ethically and professionally
Knowledge of therapeutic practices and approaches for serving diverse client populations
