General Of Counsel / Partner
Overview The Of Counsel / Partner attorney provides high-level legal expertise and strategic guidance to the firm’s attorneys and clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned lawyer with deep subject‑matter proficiency who contributes to complex matters while maintaining a flexible or specialized practice structure. This position supports business development, mentors junior team members, and upholds the firm’s commitment to exceptional legal service.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on complex legal issues within designated practice areas
Manage or assist with sophisticated transactions, litigation matters, or regulatory work
Collaborate with partners to develop legal strategies and drive successful outcomes
Review, draft, and negotiate advanced legal documents
Serve as a subject‑matter resource for attorneys across the firm
Support business development initiatives and foster client relationships
Provide mentorship and guidance to associates and legal staff
Maintain awareness of relevant legal developments and industry trends
Qualifications
JD and active law license in jurisdiction of practice
Significant experience in relevant practice area(s)
Demonstrated expertise and sound professional judgment
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
